Thank you to the families that have already paid the school donation. If all families pay the school donation, it will help the school provide educational excellence, opportunities and resources for our learners. The requested school donation is $200.00 per learner. This figure was set by the Board of Trustees as part of their 2015 budget preparation. We are a Decile 7 community and although the school donation is voluntary, we are reliant on community contributions to help us maintain our programmes and resources.
Also, as this is a donation it is subject to a refund through the Inland Revenue Department. The refund is approximately one-third of your donation. More details can be found at www.ird.govt.nz. (Rebate claim form IR526).
If every one of our families paid the school donation of $200.00 per learner, we would receive a total of $30,000.
Where Does Your Donation Go? –
This year it will be used for:-
* Additional learning opportunities
* The purchase of teaching resources
* Additional learning support offering small group or individual assistance in literacy and/or numeracy.
