Learning Coaches

Due to roll growth, there are opportunities to join our growing collaborative team where learning never stops and growth mindset is the norm. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed to their learning. Commitment to the vision and principles of our school is essential. Learning Coaches collaboratively teach in teams of 3 or 4 educators. Year levels are negotiable.

What is a Learning Coach?

  • A tutor, an expert, a mentor, a teacher

The main roles of a Learning Coach

  • Overall designer of the learning process, of guiding and directing the learners, of supporting the learning through learning talks with individuals, small and large groups. At the same time, ensure learners acquire knowledge bases and essential concepts.
  • The Learning Coach should be regarded as responsible for collaboratively ‘engineering’ a learning environment, both in its design and its operation.
  • In essence, Learning Coaches design, mentor, stimulate, provoke, engage, diagnose, educate and teach.
