#ORESOME OrmPS Official Opening

Our Official Opening was a roaring success! We were pleased to see so many of our whanau, our special invited guests, our Establishment Board of Trustees, our #oresome speaker William Pike (Young New Zealander of the Year Finalist, Adventurer & Author http://williampike.co.nz/ who’s mantra is “All passion, no limits”), our super amazing Educators and of course our learners. Our learners had an amazing morning showcasing some of their learning and visiting the other Learning Habitats to participate in some #oresome learning experiences. During iActive we were on show while we did school wide Jump Jam outside! At 12:00pm we all convened in our Multispace for the official ceremony which included:

Tipene from Ngai Tai welcomed our guests to this place
Heath McNeil – our Leader of Learning welcomed everyone to our school
Guest Speaker: William Pike, Young New Zealander of the Year Finalist speaks (and one lucky learner pulled his leg off- ka pai for being brave Ohm!)

Then we all got to go home early!
