We had another successful and fun evening on April 1st at our 2016 OrmPS Disco. The disco organisation was lead by Ashmira and Jasmine from LH3 with a heap of help from other learners.
The LH2 & LH4 learners dressed in their favourite superheroes so we saw everyone from Captain America and Batman to Princess Elsa and Superwoman. Meanwhile our older learners dressed in the black and white theme beautifully! The best dressed prizes went to:
- Year 1 girl – Raisa, Year 1 boy – Vedanch
- Year 2 girl – Nicole, Year 2 boy – Darius
- Year 3 girl – Olivia, Year 3 boy – Stephan
- Year 4 girl -Selestine, Year 4 boy – Gary
- Year 5 girl – Ava, Year 5 boy -Aryan
- Year 6 girl – Aleena
- Year 7 girl – Mervlyn, Year 7 boys- Arnav & Mohammed
- Learning Coaches: Miss Morgan as SuperWoman and Miss Barber as Princess
The event enabled us to raise $ 963 which is being donated to UNICEF to help those effected by the cyclone in Fiji and Auckland City Mission. What a collaborative, connected team effort. Ka pai OrmPS:)
