#WOW! #oresome! Our very first Connected Community Day on April 15 was a roaring success! The learners, educators and community participated in a day of ‘connected’ learning experiences. Some examples included making Connected Meeting: connecting to make iMovies, Pic Collages etc., Connected Playing: connecting to play games with new equipment and Connected Moving: connecting in Jump Jam and a bouncy castle. We announed the winner of the Ormee Octopus logo competition and said good-bye to marvellous Mrs Kamsteeg. From our fundraising options, lead entirely by the learners, we were able to raise $300 for the Diabetes association and over $700 to help support the relief effort in Fiji.
